Where to go today???

When possible I will try to include the location I shot the photo from. Photo taken at Minnesota State fair 2010

In fact this blog is more about where we shoot from rather than the technicals that accompany shooting great photographs. Please add your comments and questions and especially any locations you would like to share that you feel are good vantage points for photographing not only city images but all image subjects, like favorite landscapes, nature, birding, boating and others in the city, metro or out state areas.

Take your camera with you every where that you go, so when opportunity knocks you are ready

At night in the rain

Shooting at night, is both challenging and addicting. This theater sits at 694 and 252 in Brooklyn Park, MN . I first thought it would make a good sunset shot, and it still will seeing as how it faces the East and you would have the sun set behind the building, Just at this time of year May into June I haven't seen the lights come on the building until the sun has set so it will be one to try around fall when they set the clocks behind.

These are really great shots!

I've been away on vacation since June 6 and did not have access to a computer during this time. I responded to your June 8 question on my site regarding the Wakota Bridge.

Thanks, I'll be spending some time there soon, the bridge and 61 between Hastings and 94. Very scenic and unique area.
