Where to go today???

When possible I will try to include the location I shot the photo from. Photo taken at Minnesota State fair 2010

In fact this blog is more about where we shoot from rather than the technicals that accompany shooting great photographs. Please add your comments and questions and especially any locations you would like to share that you feel are good vantage points for photographing not only city images but all image subjects, like favorite landscapes, nature, birding, boating and others in the city, metro or out state areas.

Take your camera with you every where that you go, so when opportunity knocks you are ready

U-more Park++-- Click on photo to enlarge++--

Rosemount MN,UMORE Park has two sets of these photographic stacks I prefer the ones that do not have the middle one shortened.
Shadow brought his camera too, and kept up with Grandpa.
This is the set with the short stack.
Hundreds of columns stand in this field. Many old structures remain from this plant built in the 40's Not sure what any of them are. but they make for some interesting photos.

This was by far one of the most interesting places I have gone to shoot some pictures. I can't wait to try some more of your locations

That radio transmitter tower out in one of those fields is a part of my work :) I go down that way a few times a year to do work and pass these structures. One of these days I will stop and take some pictures! Nice shots!!
